What a great day. Have you done this before? GD goes to a soup kitchen, about once a month, with the Knights of Columbus men. I have gone once or twice - somehow it feels good to help these people in need, especially the families with children. You know this could be their only meal for the day. We have also worked with the St. Vincent dePaul Society doing office work which includes giving food, and helping some families pay utilitiy bills and even rent, and further helping some find a place to live for a few days. Don't you think the Lord helps us use our time wisely and in a giving way? We are so blessed to be able to do these things.
